Who Are We?

Amanda Brookfield is the author of thirteen published novels, including The Godmother, Sisters and Husbands, A Family Man, Relative Love (Hodder & Stoughton 2004) and its sequel The Simple Rules of Love (Penguin 2006). Her most recent novel, Life Begins, was published by Penguin in October 2008.

Much of her work has also been published abroad, in the USA, Germany, Holland, Latvia and Sweden. ITV have recently optioned the rights to Relative Love.

Before writing fulltime she worked in two major advertising agencies and as a freelance journalist in South America. She is a regular contributor of short stories to newspapers and magazines.

She has two sons and lives in southeast London.
